This Privacy Policy describes how DIVICAR ("Pacific Auto Reserve", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit pacificautoreserve.com (the "Site"), submit a request, or use our private client portal.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Car requests: name, phone number, email address, the car you are interested in, budget range, timeline and any message you include.
- Client portal: account details (name, email, phone), messages you exchange with your manager, your approval of a vehicle, and documents related to your order (for example agreements, invoices, title and registration paperwork).
- Communications: information you share with us by phone, email, text or messaging apps.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, the website or campaign that referred you (including UTM tags), device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and approximate location (city, region, country) derived from your connection by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address in our analytics.
- Anonymous identifier: a random ID kept in your browser's local storage so we can count unique visits and remember how you first found us. It does not identify you personally and is not a cookie.
- Sign-in data: if you use the client portal, your browser stores a secure session so you stay signed in.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your request and provide our services: search, inspection, negotiation, purchase, paperwork and delivery of a vehicle.
- To operate the client portal, keep you updated on your order and share documents securely.
- To communicate with you about your request or order.
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax, licensing and record-keeping obligations, and to protect our rights and prevent fraud.
3. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to deliver our services:
- Service providers that host and run our Site and systems (for example website hosting, database and file storage), acting on our instructions.
- Transaction parties involved in your purchase with your knowledge — such as the selling dealer or private seller, independent inspectors, vehicle history report providers, enclosed transport carriers, insurers, and government agencies for title and registration.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our company and others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser connects to Google to download them, which shares your IP address with Google under its own privacy policy.
4. Data retention
We keep request information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and order records and documents for as long as required for legal, tax and licensing purposes. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form for business reporting. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
5. Security
Your client portal is protected by individual sign-in, and order documents are stored privately and shared only through time-limited links. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and limit access to our team.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving communications from us.
- You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset the anonymous identifier.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it); to limit use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Under California's "Shine the Light" law you may request information about disclosures for direct marketing purposes — we do not make such disclosures.

Do Not Track: the Site does not track you across third-party websites, so it responds to browser Do Not Track signals and Global Privacy Control in the same way — no cross-site tracking takes place.
7. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
